Waikato River Explorer

Cynthia Dew was built of native New Zealand Kauri in 1979. Initially built for cruises in the far north, she was transported to Hamilton by a group of passionate Waikato business people. She was then launched at Grantham Street boat ramp.

The Waikato River Explorer is a fantastic way to enjoy some of the city scenery and learn a little history from the live commentary along the way.

The Waikato River Explorer offers weekly Scenic Cruises, Wine Tasting Cruises or Ferry Trips to events at either Hamilton Gardens or Mystery Creek Events Centre. The Waikato River Explorer is a great option for corporate events, client functions, staff dinners or just a leisurely cruise with family and friends.
